Painted on site, this work was painted from the Boboli Gardens in June of 2006. When Ryan
began studying in Florence, he was immediately interested with the 15th century architect Fillipo Brunelleschi, so
whenever there was a chance to paint the dome, Ryan painted it. Ryan painted the oils in almost a
watercolor-like style using high amounts of thinner in the paint.
