Upon arriving in Rome in June, 2006. Ryan took a quick tour stopping at a viewing point on one of the 7 hills
of Rome. He took a picture of this scene and new that the second he returned, he would start working on
this painting. One of his favorite pieces, this painting shows the artists skill with the color wheel, using various shades
of blues and violets to show distance, while simultaneously showing only hints of edges and shapes.
